John Knox House is one of the oldest buildings on the Royal Mile. Built in the 15th century, the former inhabitant John Knox was a leader in the Scottish Reformation. The painted ceilings, timber-framed windows and creaky staircases are filled with history. Entering its doors is like being transported to Edinburgh’s past.

La John Knox House est l'un des plus anciens bâtiments du Royal Mile. Construite au XVe siècle, elle fut autrefois habitée par John Knox, figure de proue de la Réforme écossaise.
